Pi day is celebrated in the US every March 14 (3/14) to
commemorate the mathematical constant (π). I love mathematics, and I do wish
that it is also celebrated here in my country. I preferred Math than English
subject, and pi (π) is one of the significant formulas I can’t forget which is
equal to 3.14.
Most Americans celebrated this day by baking a pie with
symbol in it. Some schools throw a party with a pie by eating, baking, and
throwing each others with a pie. They also held a quiz in connection with pi (π).
Anyway, my son already memorized this, in one of the
equations they use in a circle. I hope schools here in the Philippines
celebrated it also along with a Math weekend, yet too bad, March is almost the
end of the school here, so I guessed this isn't compatible to celebrate here.
Happy Pi Day to all our friends in the US.
